TRANSPARENCY FROM THE FIRST TOUCH

Privacy policy

This policy covers the Cham Photo iOS app (com.laos.champhoto), with a separate section below for this promotional website.

What to know

Cham Photo has no account, no ads and no analytics. Photos and the analysis behind capture guidance stay on your iPhone. The only data that leaves the device is purchase information sent to RevenueCat so your Pro unlock works (see Purchases).

Camera and image analysis

The camera provides a live preview and captures photos. Apple Vision analyzes poses, faces, the horizon and the main subject on device for composition guides, suggestions and shot selection, and color filters are applied on device. The app does not record preview frames as video, upload them or share them.

Photo library and reference images

The app requests add-only photo access to save captures, rather than permission to read your entire library. Reference images you choose through the iOS picker are stored as resized copies in the app's local private folder. Deleting a template or the app removes that copy.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases through the App Store. To confirm your Pro unlock, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous app user ID, your purchase and entitlement status, and technical request data such as your IP address and the app, device and iOS version. It does not receive your name, email, card details or photos, and the app does not use this data for advertising or tracking. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. The only third-party SDK is RevenueCat, used for purchases as described above.

Control and deletion

You can change camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings, delete personal templates in the app or uninstall it to remove its local data. Photos already saved in Photos remain there until you delete them in Photos. Purchase data held by RevenueCat is linked to a random ID rather than your identity; contact support if you have questions about it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. It has no accounts and collects only the anonymous purchase data described above.

This promotional website

This website has no forms, advertising cookies, analytics tools or tracking scripts. Demo images are preloaded; the website does not request camera access or upload your images. When deployed on Cloudflare, the hosting provider may process IP addresses and technical request data for content delivery, security and operations under its privacy policy. This is separate from photos inside the app.
